Chicago percussionist and composer Tim Daisy has prepared a new set of scores for two percussionists and piano, which he will present every Monday in April as part of the Homeroom Residency series at Elastic Arts.

Combining traditional and graphic notation, improvisation, and conductions, this new work—titled Chrome Yellow—aims to create music with enough improvisation and modular components to keep things interesting while maintaining a recognizable identity throughout each performance.

For a second set, two guest artists will join the trio for a set of quintet improvisations called Reflections on Chrome.
