Bowling Party 2026

A fundraiser benefiting Comfort Station, High Concept Labs, Homeroom Chicago, & Rough House Puppet Arts

Join High Concept Labs, Homeroom, Comfort Station, and Rough House Puppet Arts for a joint fundraiser bowling party at the iconic Fireside Bowl on Sunday, August 30, from 2-6 PM.

This event supports four organizations that continually champion Chicago artists. Every strike, spare, and gutter ball helps raise vital funds to keep Chicago's creative ecosystem thriving.

We'll have custom merch, drinks, prizes, pizza provided by Pizza Lobo, and lively play-by-play commentary from the Bad at Sports art podcasters.

Ways to support

  • Register a full bowling team (5 bowlers)

  • Sign up with friends and we'll help complete your 5-person team

  • Register as an individual bowler and join a team of fellow bowlers

  • Bring your family: kids at 5-14 can bowl for $25!

  • Join as an Alley Cat: watch the competition, play games, and cheer on your favorite bowlers!

Dress in your best bowling outfit from your favorite era! You can pick a team to root for, or stay neutral and just enjoy the festive competition.

Ticket Details

  • Every ticket comes with pizza from Pizza Lobo and a commemorative t-shirt, including spectators!

  • Each bowler gets to play up to 3 games, plus swag for every person on the team

  • VIP Add-On (available with any tier): Includes a wristband to enjoy the open bar and one raffle ticket

About the Organizations

High Concept Labs, Homeroom, Comfort Station, and Rough House Puppet Arts are independent Chicago arts nonprofits. Together, we support artists in creating experimental work across disciplines: music, dance, visual art, poetry, puppetry, and more. We believe joint fundraising is a smarter, more efficient model to grow our collective capacity and cross-pollinate audiences.

Accessibility

Fireside Bowl is wheelchair accessible, and a ramp is available to access the bowl platform. However, there are no rails or other adaptive bowling equipment available. For any additional accessibility requests or questions, please contact HCL’s accessibility coordinator, Angee Lennard, at angee@highconceptlabs.org or 312-374-1117.
