Whitney Young student Yiyang Hou and film curator Christey LeMaster, will present a film screening on May 21st. As part of his mentorship, Yiyang has been watching film and video work and helping out at The Nightngale, a microcinema run by Christy LeMaster, at 1084 N Milwuakee. The program Yiyang has curated for the space will feature his first experimental video, called ASHES OF THE WHALE, and the work of his classmates. all students of Whitney Young art teacher, Nancy Klark.
