Multi-talented writer and performer Ed Crouse will take us to the Song Poem’s heyday when, in the back of any cheap magazine, you could find the opportunity have your poetry made into a real vinyl record. Ed Crouse is a musical gadfly, activist and semi-retired journalist living in Humboldt Park. He has written about films, music and leather bars for Film Comment, the Village Voice and the San Francisco Bay Guardian and has been in bands such as Logjam, Strip Minors, The Piltdowns and The Continentals.
