Songwriter Showcase and Open Mic with Garrett Brown and Tony Sackett

Justin Petertil of Love Raid and Office hosts our Songwriter Showase featuring Garrett Brown of the Hidden Mitten and Tony Sackett of Warms Ones.

Following the songwriters of the 1990’s, Garrett Brown’s music is instantly appealing, but subversive in message and form. The Hidden Mitten is certainly one of Chicago’s hardest rocking bands, and Garrett’s songs feel direct and immediate. myspace.com/thehiddenmitten

Justin Petertil, our monthly host, is a bit of songwriting voyeur. His music, often performed with Love Raid, constrains a number of disparate influences into pop forms that belie their own complexity.
