Urban Sandbox Returns

The Urban Sandbox started way back in 2002 at the infamous Ice Factory as an all ages multi-canvassed Open Mic event that featured visual art, spoken word, comedy, music & more. This Friday, January 13th it returns (again) to Logan Square’s Comfort Station. The evening is hosted by the heavily-bearded and talented, Dan Sully. Full disclosure, Sully is also the co-curator Homeroom’s Ten x Ten Project

This month’s Sandbox will feature HBO Def Poet and Chicago favorite Joel Chmara along side comedian Bill Cruz. Doors open at 7:30, show runs 8 to 10.
