Sound of Silent Film Runs April 1st through April 3rd at the Chopin

Access Contemporary Music will be presenting their annual Sound of Silent Films at the Chopin Theater (1524 W Division) from Friday, April 1st through Sunday, April 3rd. Tickets can be purchased at their wesite, and cost $20, $15 online, and $8 seniors and students. This year’s festival features short films by renowned directors like Martin Scorsese, Gus Van Sant, and Manoel de Oliveira plus a stunning animated film by Manga creator Osama Tezuka and a horror comedy created especially for the festival. The composers include Brian Baxter, Mike Leghorn, Brian O’Hern, Matthew Pakulski, Jason Seed, and Amy Wurtz. This event should not be missed, so we encourage you to buy your tickets in advance.
