Fall Semester begins with Dance, Film, and Music at Experiments in Space & Time

Experiments in Space & Time: Proximity

Saturday, September 21st at 9pm

Elastic Arts, 2830 N. Milwaukee Ave, Chicago IL

Homeroom is excited to present the first program of our Fall Semester. THE LAW OF PROXIMITY: Close But Not Touching is the first project in a series of experimental performances combining new music, dance and film.

Experiments in Space and Time: Proximity will include sound and movement pieces by composer Elliott Sharp, dancer Asimina Chremos, choreographer David Lakein, and composer and improviser Christopher Preissing.

In addition to the performance, the audience will be invited to participate in discussions and questionnaires. Along with the input from the crowd, the evening will be documented aurally and visually and include scores, space and time measurements, and notes from each of the collaborators. Please join us for this interactive night of experimental music, dance and film!
